The 4th annual Tri-City Baseball Classic, which will feature 22 teams playing at a total of five sites across three days, will begin Thursday. The Tri-City area’s four high schools — Morgan City, Central Catholic, Berwick and Patterson — will be joined in the event by East St. John, Westgate, South Plaquemines, Central Lafourche, Ascension Christian, St. James, St. Augustine, McKinley, Hanson, Assumption, Thibodaux, South Lafourche, Ellender, Abbeville, South Terrebonne, De La Salle, Covenant Christian and Thomas Jefferson.
