Patterson, Berwick finish 3-0 in tourney

Staff Report The Patterson Lumber-jacks and Berwick Panthers finished 3-0 at the Tri-City Baseball Classic last week. Patterson defeated West-gate 2-1 Thursday, South Plaquemines 12-8 Friday and Thomas Jefferson 14-1 Saturday. Meanwhile, Berwick topped South Terrebonne 8-6 Thursday, topped Central Lafourche 3-0 Friday and routed South Plaquemines 20-0 Saturday. Morgan City finished 1-2 in the tournament with losses to St. James (8-5) and Hanson Memorial (9-2) Friday and a 12-2 victory against South Plaquemines Saturday.
