In the spirit of the holiday, Patterson Garden Club made a monetary donation to Patterson Healthcare Center to help purchase Christmas gifts for residents.
Patterson Garden Club donated gardening books to the St. Mary Parish Patterson Branch Library. “Gardening For Beginners” and “Grow: A Family Guide To Growing Fruits and Vegetables,” were presented. Members of Patterson Garden Club participated in a plant exchange at the September club meeting. Participants included Juanita Bienvenu, Linda Thomas, Lisa Wilson, Sandra Marshall, Donna Ruffin, Iris Roy, Daisy Leblanc and Evelyn Estay. Also participating was member Rosa Butler.
