The Berwick High School Panthers got off to a slow start Friday but quickly regrouped en route to a 55-19 thrashing of the Erath Bobcats in both teams’ District 8-3A opener.
The Berwick High School Panthers will begin District 8-3A action Friday when they travel to face Erath High School.

Erath scored two runs in the top of the sixth inning and kept Patterson off the scoreboard in a 2-0 victory in District 8-3A action at Patterson Tuesday.
The Berwick Lady Panthers fell to Erath, 9-8, in District 8-3A action at Erath Wednesday.
No individual stats were available.
Tuesday, Berwick defeated Kaplan, 7-0.
