A trio of Central Catholic High School senior football players earned Louisiana Sports Writers Association Class 1A All-State honorable mention honors.
Central Catholic High School defeated West St. Mary 49-22 at Tiger Stadium in Morgan City Thursday. Central Catholic's Davidyione Bias, right, rushed for 179 yards on 19 carries with five touchdowns. As a team, Central Catholic finished with 460 yards of offense, including 399 rushing. Central Catholic will return to action Sept. 20 when it travels to face Vinton. (The Daily Review/Geoff Stoute)
