Criticism stings hard-working young writer

DEAR ABBY: I divorced my narcissistic husband after our children were raised. Over the years, I have tried to have a relationship with all of my children and their families.
DEAR ABBY: My brother has been married for 11 years to a woman who is very controlling. She’s 32, he’s 38, and they have two kids.
DEAR ABBY: When I was a young, newly divorced, single mother, I returned to college. There I met a woman in similar circumstances.
DEAR ABBY: A year ago, I lost a tooth. I’m a 56-year-old woman on disability, short on funds to rectify the problem, so I visited my local hospital’s dental clinic.
