Patterson High School defeated Division III Abbeville High School 3-0 in nondistrict prep volleyball action at Abbeville Monday.
Patterson won by scores of 25-13, 25-19 and 25-6.
Berwick High School fell to Division III’s top-ranked squad, Vandebilt Catholic, 3-0 (25-11, 25-10, 25-16) in Berwick Tuesday in both teams’ District 8-III action.
Central Catholic opened District 6-V play Thursday with a 3-0 (25-10, 25-12, 25-10) victory against West St. John in Morgan City.
Central Catholic had 40 kills and 11 aces in the win.
Central Catholic fell in five sets to Division 2 Assumption at home Monday.
Morgan City High School eased past Franklin High School 3-0 (25-5, 25-9, 25-12) in nondistrict volleyball action in Morgan City Wednesday.
The Lady Tigers had 20 aces in the victory.
