CCHS honors volleyball and football teams

Central Catholic High School honored its volleyball and football teams for their athletic and academic achievements during an awards ceremony at the school Wednesday.

Morgan City High School's Sh'Diamond Holly signed with the University of New Orleans on Nov. 16 to continue her volleyball career. Holly was a three-time first-team all-district volleyball player for the Lady Tigers who helped lead the school to its first quarterfinal appearence in 10 years this past season. MCHS' Holly inks with UNO

Morgan City High School volleyball standout Sh’Diamond Holly recently signed with the University of New Orleans to continue her playing career.

Berwick High alum Brie Hill finished her volleyball career at Nicholls this year. As a a senior, she led the squad with 222 kills and was second in blocks with 45. Hill will graduate next month with a degree in Psychology and again in May with a degree in Pre- Law. Above, she hits the ball during a match this season against the University of New Orleans. Berwick alum Hill excels in final season at Nicholls

It wasn’t the greatest season, wins and losses-wise, for the Nicholls volleyball team this season, but individually, senior right side/outside hitter Brie Hill had a successfully final campaign.
