CCHS' Lemoine inks with William Carey College

Central Catholic first baseman Mitchel Lemoine finished his high school career hot at the plate in the Division IV state tournament last week.

The Central Catholic Junior High School 6th- and 7th-grade squad won the parish title in the St Mary Parish Junior High Baseball League this season. Central Catholic sweeps junior high baseball titles

The Morgan City Red Sox 13U team won the USSSA Lafayette April Classic April 29–30. After splitting its games April 29, falling to Prodigy 13U, 5-4, and defeating the La Road Dogs, 13-6,the Red Sox won three straight games Sunday en route to the championship title. The Red Sox defeated the Acadiana Aces, 3-2; the Bayou Warriors, 6-2 and the Louisiana Stars 13U, 16-8, for the championship.
