Kevin Castille and Ashley Young were the top finishers in the 2017 Marcus Jones/100 Black Men of St. Mary Parish 5K Fun Run/Walk Saturday. The event was held in Morgan City in conjunction with the 82nd annual Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival. Castille won first overall male, and Young was the first overall female winner. Other Philip Guidry was second overall male and Travel Darnell was No. 3 on the men’s side. Chelsey Marcrum was second overall on the female side, and Jean Karpan was third.
