Lumberjacks pull away for 28-14 win against Franklin

With its contest with Franklin tied at 14 with about 5 minutes remaining in the third quar-ter, first-year Patterson High School Coach Don Jones turned to his Raider Package. The formation, which involves placing athlete Dajon Richard at quarterback, proved to be too much for Franklin to handle as the Lumberjacks scored the game’s next 14 points en route to a 28-14 victory in both teams’ season opener Friday.
