J.S. Aucoin Elementary in Amelia and the LSU AgCenter are hosting a Veterans Day 2 Mile Color run from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at J.S. Aucoin. Cost to enter is $10. Pre-registration is due by Nov. 10 and the class with the most pre-registered students wins prize. Registration at event begins at 9 a.m. Plate lunches will also be sold and fun jumps will be on hand. All proceeds benefit the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
