Berwick Junior High School swept the team titles at the St. Mary Parish Junior High Championship Relays March 28. Berwick Junior High boys and girls each totaled 146 points. Other boys teams participating included Patterson, second place, 104 points; Franklin, third, 80; B.E. Boudreaux, fourth, 48; Central Catholic and Chitimacha, tied for fifth with 29 each; Immanuel Christian, seventh, 26; Morgan City, eighth, 20; and Centerville, ninth, 11. Berwick’s Draven Bryan was co-Field Most Valuable Performer along with Patterson’s Jose Rivera, while Berwick’s Darby Frickey was Track MVP.
