Authorities have caught a murder suspect in connection with the shooting death of man Tuesday night in Amelia, according to a St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office news release Thursday.
A 51-year-old Franklin man was charged with driving while intoxicated after Morgan City police officers responded to a crash in a parking lot, Police Chief James Blair said in a news release.
