Man didn't show for court; now he faces drug charges, too

A Patterson man already wanted for failing to appear in court in Franklin and Morgan City on speeding charges was arrested again Saturday in Franklin, accused of possession with intent to distribute two drugs.

Franklin

Chef Cedric Handy reported these arrests:

--Jonathan Perry, 42, N Street, Patterson, was arrested at 7:12 p.m. Saturday on a warrant for 3rd Ward City Court alleging failure to appear on a charge of speeding and warrants for 6th Ward Morgan City Court alleging failure to appear on charges of driving under suspension, speeding and failure to yield.

Perry was additionally arrested on the charges of speeding, operating a vehicle while license is suspended, possession with the intent to distribute MDMA and possession with the intent to distribute alprazolam. Perry was booked, processed and held on a $101,898 bond.

--Bryce Coleman, 27, Bank Avenue, New Iberia, was arrested at 8:09 p.m. Friday on a warrant for 3rd Ward City Court alleging failure to appear on the charge of license plate light. Coleman was booked, processed and released on a $238 bond.

--Chris Robling, 56, Mozart Drive, Houma, was arrested at 5:11 p.m. Saturday on charges of speeding and reckless operation. Robling was booked, processed and released on a $532 bond.

--Brandy Captville, 37, Second Street, Franklin, was arrested at 8:07 a.m. Aug. 5 on a warrant dated July 14 alleging simple criminal damage to property. Captville was additionally arrested on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal use of controlled dangerous substances in the presence of persons under 17.

Captville was booked, processed, and held with no bond set at the time of press release.

--Carl Joseph Jr., 32, Curtis Drive, Franklin, was arrested at 4 a.m. Thursday, on a charge of remaining where forbidden. Joseph was booked, processed and held on a $1,000 bond.

Morgan City

Chief Chad M. Adams reported these arrests:

--Jermiah Luke, 46, La. 182, Morgan City, was arrested at 1:55 p.m. Saturday on charges of resisting an officer, failure to appear for review and probation violation (6th Ward Morgan City Court).

--Stephen Mann, 55, Glenwood Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 9:27 p.m. Saturday on a charge of access device fraud ($5,000-$25,000).

--Tiera Butler, 31, Bayou Reserve, Thibodaux, was arrested at 10:22 p.m. Saturday on two counts of failure to appear for arraignment (6th Ward Morgan City Court).

--Xavier Hargroder, 19, Oak Harbor Drive, Morgan City, was arrested at 12:38 a.m. Friday on a charge of terrorizing.

--Sissy Daigle, 32, Marquis Manor, Morgan City, was arrested at 4:31 p.m. Aug. 5 on charges of accessory after the fact (violation of protective order) and accessory after the fact (criminal damage to property).

--Garland Romero, 39, Sandi Drive, Morgan City, was arrested at 1:47 a.m. Thursday on a charge of failure to appear for arraignment and as a fugitive from the Franklin Police Department.

St. Mary

Sheriff Gary Driskell reported these arrests:

--William Harold Moye, 54, Patterson, was arrested at 2:28 a.m. Saturday on charges of hit and run and leaving the scene of an accident. Bail has not been set at this time.

--Alfred Collins Jr., 34, Franklin, was arrested at 11:49 a.m. Friday on a charge of battery of a correctional officer. Collins continues to be incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

--Amber Lynn Stratton, 32, Morgan City, was arrested at 9:29 a.m. Saturday on a Morgan City Police Department warrant alleging failure to appear. Stratton is being held for another agency.

--Kristofer Jermaine Jenkins, 45, Lafayette, was arrested 10:48 a.m. Sunday on charges of driver must be licensed, driving while intoxicated and driving on roadway laned for traffic. Bail has not been set at this time.

--Paul Ashley Wiggins Jr., 56, Berwick, was arrested at 11:05 p.m. Saturday on charges of resisting arrest or officer, driving on roadway laned for traffic, driving while intoxicated and open container.

Wiggins was released on a $8,250 bond.

--Hebert Leon Williams, 46, New Orleans, was arrested at 9:48 p.m. Sunday on charges of driving on roadway laned for traffic, speeding, driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, introduction of contraband into a penal institution and no license plate.

Bail has not been set at this time.

--Andrew Thomas Medley, 32, Fenton, Missouri, was arrested at 7:10 p.m. Thursday on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail has not been set at this time.

--Timothy Wayne Tindell, 52, Bayou Vista, was arrested at 10:44 p.m. Thursday on two warrants alleging failure to appear on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. Bail has not been set at this time.

--Danny Michael Fulks Jr., 41, Franklin, was arrested by the Narcotics Section at 2:26 p.m. Thursday on a charge of resisting an officer and on two warrants alleging theft and simple burglary. Bail has not been set at this time.

--Rachelle Deanna Madison, 56, Franklin, was arrested at 11:29 p.m. Aug. 5 on a warrant alleging terrorizing and cyberstalking. Bail has not been set at this time.

--Blaise Keith Crane, 32, Franklin, at 4:22 p.m. Aug. 5 on a Probation and Parole warrant. A hold was placed on Crane by another agency.

--John Wesley Menser, 46, Patterson, was arrested at 1:22 p.m. Aug. 5 on a warrant alleging domestic abuse (child endangerment law). Bail has not been set at this time.

--Billy Betro Farnham, 41, Denham Springs, was arrested at 8:58 p.m. Aug. 5 on a charge of domestic abuse battery, simple battery and on a warrant alleging failure to appear on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia,
operating a vehicle while intoxicated and reckless operation of a vehicle.

Bail has not been set at this time.

Patterson

Chief Garrett Grogan reported these arrests:

--Paul Cox, 73, Bayou Black Drive, Houma, was arrested at 3:29 p.m. Saturday on a charge of speeding over 25 mph. Cox was incarcerated at the Patterson PD Jail with bond set at $407.

--James S. Diaz, 35, Bayou Black Drive, Houma, was arrested at 5:06 a.m. Sunday on a charge of disturbing the peace (intoxicated). Diaz was incarcerated at the Patterson PD Jail with bond set at $473.

--Terry L. Ratliff, 45, Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested at 2:56 a.m. Monday on charges of driver’s license suspended or revoked and speeding 70 mph in a 55-mph zone. Ratliff was released on a summons.

Assumption

Sheriff Leland Falcon reported this arrest:

--Christian Micheals Fielder, 27, Curtis Street, Pierre Part, was arrested Aug. 5 on a probation violation and a count of failure to appear on charges of theft, access device fraud, forgery and monetary instrument abuse.

Fielder was previously convicted in Assumption Parish on charges of felony theft valued between $1,000 and $5,000. As a result of that conviction, Fielder was ordered to comply with specific conditions of probation and failed to do so.

As a result, a warrant was issued for Fielder on March 16.

Fielder was arrested at his Curtis Street address and booked into the Assumption Parish, where he is being held without bond.
