St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum reported the following arrests:
A 46-year-old Patterson man was booked into jail following an incident where he attacked his wife, who had broken ribs, and fired a gun into a ceiling, Patterson Police Chief Janis Merritt said.

A 40-year-old Berwick man was caught with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia after detectives responded to a narcotics complaint, St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum said in a news release.
