A 53-year-old Berwick man was booked into jail after pointing a rifle at a Berwick police officer, who had responded to a disturbance at the man’s home, Police Chief James Richard said.

Monday, Oct. 8
A 59-year-old man was charged Sunday with DWI fourth offense in Morgan City and later registered over twice the legal blood alcohol limit, Police Chief James Blair said in a news release.
