A 34-year-old Morgan City woman was charged Monday with attempted theft of a motor vehicle after trying to get inside a vehicle at a business in Morgan City, Police Chief James Blair said in a news release. —Amanda Lake, 34, of Railroad Ave in Morgan City, arrested at 3:59 p.m. Monday on a charge of attempted theft of a motor vehicle.
