Jaquinton Washington and Angie Gros were named Patterson High School Prom King and Queen during the school’s prom held April 27 at PHS.

Central Catholic's Elijah Swan, 12, and Morgan City High's Deondra Grogan, 5, reach for the ball in a contest held earlier in December. Swan contributed 17 points including seven free throws in the Eagles exciting come-from-behind win over the H.L. Bourgeois Braves during the E.D. White tournament in Thibodaux Thursday. Tournament play continues through Saturday.
