DEAR ABBY: My parents have strong opinions. I don’t agree with them in areas such as how to raise or discipline my children. If I try to explain why, they mock me with their tone of voice.
DEAR ABBY: I am a teenage girl in an average family. I started getting interested in LGBTQ+ and other social justice topics when I was in fifth grade.
DEAR ABBY: My husband and I have two sons in their late 30s. We always thought they got along well and loved each other.
DEAR ABBY: I love my parents. They are thoughtful, intelligent people who supported (even encouraged) me to attend a good school on the East Coast.
DEAR ABBY: Every summer, my husband and I, our two boys and my parents would take several vacations at Mom and Dad’s lake home.
