The seventh annual Morgan City Open Fishing Rodeo will be held June 8. The event will feature fishing from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. with a weigh-in from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at South Louisiana Community College’s Young Memorial Campus in Morgan City. Various sponsorship levels are available, and the categories to fish are redfish, bass, catfish and speckled trout. Entry forms and check must be received by June 5 at 5 p.m. The Morgan City Open Fish Rodeo is teaming with Young Memorial and Nicholls State University to support higher education and charitable causes.
