Gwendolyn Brashear Brown, 69, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. at Mt. Era Baptist Church in Morgan City. Burial will follow in Morgan City Cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Eddie Brown IV and Jacobie Brown, both of Morgan City; a daughter, Shalanda Brown of Lafayette; her companion; her father, William (Adele) Brashear of Morgan City; two brothers, R.J. Ruffin and Alton Brashear, both of Morgan City; two sisters, Ora Garner of Morgan City and Suzette Brashear of Lafayette; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandchild;
