St. Mary Parish’s unemployment rate fell for the fourth straight month, dipping below 6 percent in December 2017, according to the Louisiana Workforce Commission.
Mickie Dale Emerson, 46, who has been reported missing by his family, has been found safe, according to Morgan City police.
He had last been seen at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
