The Morgan City Harbor and Terminal District board, which devotes much of its time to finding money to dredge area waterways, suddenly has dredging vessels all over the area.
Franklin’s Christmas lights were turned on Saturday night, following a long parade of decorated golf carts, bands and more.
Nicholls State University administrators and faculty visited the area Thursday to share ideas and communicate initiatives in programs centered around the area’s waterways.
