The total solar eclipse Monday is a once in a lifetime event. Some Tri-City area teachers want to make sure their students don’t miss it. Mike Glatter, physical education coach at J.B Maitland Elementary School, said all students older than pre-K will walk by from 1-1:30 p.m. to view the eclipse projected onto a screen by a makeshift projector attached to a telescope. “It will be completely safe for (students) to look at.
