Boy Scout Troop 41 in Patterson honored George Williams, who’s been involved with the troop for 68 years, with a plaque Saturday during a ribbon cutting ceremony for the scout hut that was moved from Morey Park to across Main Street. Fest highlights Patterson park as big project nears

The second annual Patterson Historic Walking Tour and Fall Fest showcased downtown Patterson and Morey Park on Saturday just as city leaders are about to embark on major renovations to the park. Officials held a ribbon cutting ceremony Saturday to mark the re-opening of a Boy Scout hut that was moved out of Morey Park to across Main Street.
