BERWICK — Ordinances were center stage at the Berwick Town Council meeting Tuesday. The council set drainage fees and millage rates were adopted and two new ordinances were introduced. Ordinance 684 and Ordinance 685 established the drainage fees and millage rates for the 2017-18 fiscal year introduced at the April 11 council meeting. Ordinance 684 was adopted setting the drainage fees for the next fiscal year at $25 per acre. Ordinance 685 was adopted setting the millage rates to 18.12 mills for the next fiscal year.
