Woman gets probation for accessory plea in 2013 killing

A fifth defendant has entered a plea deal in connection with the May 2013 shooting death of Mikki Dauntain in Morgan City. Lyndsey Guidry, 28, of Morgan City, pleaded no contest Monday to an amended charge of accessory after the fact to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to St. Mary Parish Clerk of Court records. Guidry had originally been charged with accessory to second-degree murder. On the motion of Assistant District Attorney Anthony Saleme, 16th Judicial District Court Judge Keith Comeaux dismissed the remaining charge of obstruction of justice by tampering with evidence, court records stated.
