For many years, Morgan City has essentially run the water system in Stephensville under a contract with that area’s water commission. But officials are working on a contract that would turn over the daily responsibilities to the commission.
During Tuesday’s Morgan City Council meeting, the council approved a resolution to authorize Mayor Frank “Boo” Grizzaffi to sign a revised water contract with St. Martin Parish Water and Sewer Commission 1 in Stephensville.
