Speaker: Police do tough job, serve public honorably

Law enforcement officers often get portrayed in a negative light due to the actions of a few, but the majority are dedicated men and women who serve the public admirably, Assistant District Attorney Anthony Saleme said during a rally in Morgan City. The East St. Mary Ministerial Alliance organized its second annual Law Enforcement Support Rally held Wednesday evening at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium. The alliance comprises churches of different denominations in the area.
