A longtime land manager in the Patterson area has been picked to serve on Gov. John Bel Edwards’ coastal advisory board, and hopes to help come up with a viable plan to restore Louisiana’s marsh and forest land.
Rudy Sparks of Patterson was appointed to the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Coastal Protection, Restoration and Conservation, according to a news release.
