Issues discovered in an audit of the city of Patterson relating to credit card purchases and bank cash withdrawals have been resolved, according to city officials.
The audit report was released Monday on the Louisiana Legislative Auditor’s website.
Kolder, Champagne, Slaven & Co. performed Patterson’s audit for the year ended June 30, 2016.
Auditors issued unmodified opinions, the most favorable possible, on Patterson’s financial statements, but did list three findings in its report.
The findings related to credit card purchases, misappropriation of assets and adjustments to the financial statements.
