Patterson council considers change in mayor's court, chief powers

PATTERSON — The City Council is preparing to make changes: in the way the mayor’s court works, in the way police personnel decisions get made and in the budget. Council members talked about all three at Tuesday’s regular monthly meeting. They also heard from residents of the Martin Luther King Avenue area who want the annual Mardi Gras block party moved from their neighborhood.
