The July 4th holiday will result in municipal, parish and state office closures. St. Mary Parish offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday in observance of Independence Day. Municipal offices in the Tri-City area will only close on the Fourth of July. The Harold J. “Babe” Landry Landfill in Berwick will close at noon on Tuesday. Pelican Waste & Debris and Progressive Waste Management will run routes as usual. Residents are asked to put bins by the street the night before due to possible earlier than usual routes.
