CENTERVILLE — The future of the building that once housed M.D. Shannon Elementary isn’t certain. But St. Mary School Board members want to be ready when the picture clears. Members of the board’s District III Maintenance Committee voted Thursday to have the building appraised. Also Thursday, the District II Committee voted to let an architect negotiate the scope of planned improvements at Bayou Vista Elementary, hoping to get the work done for the $286,000 that has been budgeted for it.
