Berwick council looks back, looks ahead at local events

BERWICK — The town council turned its attention to fun events past and future at Tuesday’s regular meeting at Town Hall. The verdict on the fifth annual Lighthouse Festival, held Thursday through Sunday, was that it was “OK.” Rain was an off-and-on impediment to the waterfront event throughout the weekend. The Berwick Volunteer Fire Department’s monthly report said 8.5 inches of rain fell during September, and more rain fell in early October.
