These students took part in the VFW Post 4222 Americanism program. The program consist of Category 1, open to all students enrolled in kindergarten; Category 2, open to all students in first and second grades; Category 3, open to all students in third and fourth grades; Category 4, open to all students in fifth grade; Patriot’s Pen, open to sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students; and Voice of Democracy, which is open to all ninth- through 12th-graders.
