BERWICK — Every-one waiting for a medal or a trophy Sunday at the end of the Tour du Tech 135 kayak race had been through an ordeal. They’d come down the Teche-Atchafalaya system from Port Barre to Berwick in three stages over three unseasonably hot days. But Susan Jordan got some special recognition. She won an even longer race last month. Jordan and Scottie Trevino were first in the Tandem Unlimited category for women in the Tour du Teche 135.
