After more than two years of allegations about the hacking associated with the 2016 national election, Louisiana’s voting system has been called one of the nation’s most vulnerable. Some Louisiana officials strongly disagree.
“I think it’s as secure as it can be with the technology today,” said Jolene Holcombe, St. Mary’s registrar of voters. “With what’s coming down the road, who knows?”
