If the St. Mary Parish School Board wants to put a half-cent sales tax before voters without a sunset provision, the board may have to wait until November and what will presumably be a big turnout for the presidential election, state Sen. Bret Allain said Monday.
Allain, R-Franklin, spoke to members of the St. Mary Industrial Group at the Petroleum Club of Morgan City.
