Cane truck concerns continue

The city council heard again Tuesday from a woman who says sugar cane trucks on Red Cypress Road make life difficult. But the council offered no quick solutions. Patricia Wiggins, a Red Cypress Road resident for six years, returned to the council with a petition signed by 26 of her neighbors asking for action. Wiggins asked the council to ban the trucks from the road, which connects La. 182 and U.S. 90.
