The Morgan City Red Sox 13U team won the USSSA Lafayette April Classic April 29–30. After splitting its games April 29, falling to Prodigy 13U, 5-4, and defeating the La Road Dogs, 13-6,the Red Sox won three straight games Sunday en route to the championship title. The Red Sox defeated the Acadiana Aces, 3-2; the Bayou Warriors, 6-2 and the Louisiana Stars 13U, 16-8, for the championship. Team members include, kneeling, Mason Theriot, Spencer Hebert, Brayden Landry, Drew Rock, Tanner Simmons, Caleb O’Con and Kaleb Domingue.
