The Krewe of Dionysus presented its parade Saturday in Berwick. Warm weather made for a large turnout.
There will be four more area parades through Fat Tuesday.
Mardi Gras and Carnival are the same celebrations.
Winnie the Pooh Head Start in Amelia named Dylan Magana and Ariana Maldonado as its Mardi Gras King and Queen this Carnival season.
The Krewe of Amani members held a Sneakers Gala Feb. 26 at the Patterson Area Civic Center. The invitation-only event was held in lieu of a Mardi Gras coronation court.
