The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating the Louisiana State Police over numerous allegations of excessive force and racially discriminatory policing.
The Patterson High School cheer team will hold a can shake Saturday, June 18.
Members of the team will be collecting donations along Catherine Street in Patterson.
