The Artists Guild Unlimited Labor Day Weekend Art Show & Sale will be open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sept. 2-4. All art is for sale, except for some children’s and teen work.
William Dewitt (Bill) Hunter died on July 24, 2023 after a long and distinguished 61-year career as a lawyer and a judge. I met Bill in 1959 when we were at the LSU Law School.

The City Council on Tuesday created an economic development district with hopes that it will generate money to promote Morgan City.
