A complaint received by the Morgan City Police Department led to the arrest of a woman who was drunk and lying in the middle of a road, Morgan City Police Chief James F. Blair reported in a news release. —Teliegia Marie Busby, 54, of Marshall Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 8:11 p.m. Wednesday on charges of disturbing the peace intoxicated and alcoholic consumption in public.
