MORGAN CITY — United Blood Services will hold its annual Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival blood drive Aug. 24 and Aug. 28 through Sept. 1.

Seventeen young women are vying for the title of Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival Queen on Aug 26. They will be presented at 7:30 p.m.
Entries are being solicited for the Artists Guild Unlimited 54th Annual Judged Art Show being held Aug. 30 through Sept. 21.
