On Thursday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced it is investigating consumer complaints of Cronobacter sakazakii and Salmonella Newport infections.
The Galatea Second Line Club held a luncheon Feb. 15 to honor its newest member Mrs. Lee Dragna, wife of King Galatea LIII. The club is comprised of wives of Krewe of Galatea kings.
Dessert is often the culmination of family gatherings.
