Morgan City High School won the consolation champi-onship at Thibodaux High School’s Thanksgiving Clas-sic Wednesday with a 43-33 victory against South Lafourche.
The Houma-Thibodaux-Morgan City area was well-represented at the Louisiana Volleyball Coaches Association's East-West All-Star Game Saturday.
Patterson High School was represented by one first-team selection on the Division IV-2 All-District volleyball squad.
Patterson junior Briyanna Butler made the top squad.
Central Catholic High School swept the individual honors on the All-District 6-V volleyball team.
The Patterson Lumberjills won their fourth straight game to start the season, most recently defeating Covenant Christian 58-12 at home Tuesday.
