Morgan City High School won the consolation champi-onship at Thibodaux High School’s Thanksgiving Clas-sic Wednesday with a 43-33 victory against South Lafourche. While Morgan City led just 11-9 after a quarter, the Tigers took control in the second and third quarters, outscoring South Lafourche a combined 20-7 for a 31-16 lead heading into the final period. Tyland Boatman led Mor-gan City with 19 points.
